Gen Prawit said although the committee has made progress in building public awareness on reconciliation last year, it was still not enough.
He said it need increased effort on the aspect to support reconciliation process that will lead to peaceful co-existence without conflicts or divisions.
He said reconciliation effort and election was different issue that should not be messed up as it could create confusion.
He said he has no thought of whatsoever to play politics, but just to carry out political task.
He also declined comment on whether he has submitted second clarification document on his wristwatches and diamond ring to the National Anti-Corruption Committee.
On the former premier Ms Yingluck Shinawatra’s application for political asylum in the United Kingdom, Gen Prawit said it depended on the police and the Foreign Ministry to investigate.
