Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha yesterday expressed his sadness for the slain family of a village headman in Ao Luek district in Krabi province and asked that the public should not assume perpetrators are soldiers just because they wore camouflage fatigues.
Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-Ocha today gave his condolence to the family of Worayut Sanglang, the village headman of Ban Klang village, after a group of armed men shot up the family resulting in 8 deaths and 3 injuries.
He urged authorities to do their utmost to bring the perpetrators to justice.
He assured that the police are not discounting any possible motives for the execution style shooting.
He asked the public not to quickly assume that the execution-style was the work of the soldiers just because of the camouflage fatigues that the perpetrators wore.
Gen Prayut asserted that no one was above the law and asked that anyone with any information that could help investigators should contact authorities to help them uncover any leads.
