He vowed to achieve his reconciliation plan to bring the country back to real peace, eliminate corruption, drive the economy to growth, and resolve the long standing unrest problem in the South.
All these could be achieved through the reform in eleven areas which are defined in the policy statement, he said.
Gen Prayuth made clear of his government’ s important task to uphold the institution with loyalty and with its strong determination to narrow social gaps as it is a cause of conflict, so as to enable all people to have access to government services equally.
He pledged to resolve the southern problems, and increase the country’s competitive edge as the past six months of political unrest had undermined the country’s economy.
He said the government would need a three stage plan to stimulate economy and drive the country to sustainable growth.
