The next mobile Cabinet meeting will be held in the southern province of Chumphon on Aug 21, assistant government spokesperson Col Taksada Sangkhachan said today.
Col Taksada said that Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha will make an inspection trip to follow up on various government projects in Ranong and Chumphon provinces on Aug 20, before attending the mobile Cabinet meeting in Chumphon the next day.
The meeting will focus on the implementation of government projects in two groups of southern provinces. They are: Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun provinces on the coast of the Andaman Sea; and Chumphon, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Surat Thani and Songkhla on the coast of the Gulf of Thailand.
Deputy Prime Minister Chatchai Sarikulya has been assigned to chair a preparatory meeting for the mobile Cabinet trip.
