Police have arrested the last suspect allegedly involved with nine other people in the gun attack in Min Buri four years ago which killed four people and injured four others.
The last suspect, identified as Haris Mudsun, 24, was nabbed by a team of metropolitan police at workers’ lodging in Tambon Suahong, Chian Yai district of Nakhon Si Thammarat, on Saturday afternoon.
A warrant was issued by the Min Buri provincial court against Haris in January 2014 wanted on charges of murder, illegal possession and carrying military firearms which cannot be owned by private citizens.
On December 24, 2013, Haris and nine other people who were already arrested by the police opened fire with a submachine gun and two shotgun pistols into a group of people in front of Wararom housing estate on Rat-uthit road in Min Buri, Bangkok Metropolis.
The gunshots killed four people and injured four others. After the shooting incident, Haris escaped out of Bangkok and remained at large until police tracked him down in Nakhon Si Thammarat.
