The request of the Japanese father Shigeta Mitsutoki was revealed after his Thai lawyer Kong Suriyamonthon met Ladprao police Tuesday and handed over a letter clarifying reasons why he wants his babies back and why he has yo have so many children.
The letter was written in Japanese and thepthepolice said they needed one week to have the letter translated and whether they could process his request.
He wanted all the babies yo be brought up in Japan, police said.
Meanwhile Lumpini police said six surrogate mothers paid by the Japanese father for surrogacy have contacted the police for question.
The police have questioned five surrogate mothers with the Japanese father and investigation revealed they all received surrogacy service from Dr Apisit Tantiwatanakul, owner of the All IVF Clinic which was earlier raided.
Investigation showed they have connection with brokers in having the service.
Police said that the doctor has contacted the police to show up for questioning on September 6.
If he didn’t show up, arrest warrant would be issued, the police said.
