Hua Hin police hunt for culprits dumping four human fetuses in garbage bin 

Hua Hin district police in Prachuap Khiri Khan are now hunting for culprits who dumped four human fetuses in garbage bin near convenience store on Tuesday (Feb 13).

The fetuses, wrapped and put inside garbage bags, were found by a garbage collector of Hua Hin Municipality who collected the waste at a 7-Eleven convenience store at Ruamsook housing estate.

Hua Hin police superintendent Pol Col Sittichai Srisopacharoenrat said that police detectives had been sent to the scene to look for evidence and track the routes used by the culprits.

Initial investigation showed the culprits might come with a car as the garbage bag was rather big.

He said Hua Hin police were cooperating with the Prachuap Khiri Khan provincial police to jointly track down those dispose the fetuses, which were suspected to come from illegal abortion clinic.

Pol Col Sittichai said Hua Hin hospital had examined the fetuses and found that two were aged between 6 and 8 months, while one aged 3-4 months, and the other only 2 months. Doctors confirmed they were

The hospital doctor said they were all aborted fetuses.

He said the police were checking clinics in the area to find out if they performed illegal abortion. Police also asked local hospitals to report cases of female patients seeking medical treatment for complications after abortion.

Police initially found one clinic in Hua Hin municipal area which has provided abortion service illegally, Pol Col Sittichai added.
