GHB says flooding and political instability disrupting property recovery

The director of the Government Housing Bank’s Real Estate Information Center, Mr Samana Kidsing, said the fourth quarter of this year could see the property sector beginning to recover.

But the current  natural disasters such as flooding and the political instability could also halt its recovery.

However he said next year could see brighter outlook on the sector with a forecast of  5-10% growth and the prices of the property both  horizontal and vertically should rise not less than 5% due to rising land price and construction materials.
