Army to hunt for armed men gunning own down three Pattani villagers 

The commander of the Fourth Army Region today (July 7) ordered all government authorities to investigate and hunt for a group of armed men responsible for the separate shooting dead of three locals last night in Mayo district of Pattani.

Spokesman of the Forward Command of the Internal Security Operations Command 4 (Isoc 4) Col Pramote Prom-in said the three separate shootings  happened between 6.35-7.00 pm Thursday night (July 6) in Mayo district.

The victims are:

1.Ma-eh Waedolloh, 23, who was shot at a fresh market in tambon La-nga.

2.Marob-in Make, a defense volunteer. He was gunned down in front of a mosque in tambon Sa Kam.

3.Sasuding Jaeso, 22, shot dead in a village in tambon Sa Kam.

Col Pramote said the Fourth Army commander has voiced regret for families of the victims, and ordered all authorities to work together to hunt the perpetrators and bring them for trials as soon as possible.

In case that they were victims of southern insurgency, their families would be remedied by the state.

The spokesman said further that southern insurgents continue to create violence in various patterns, such as to harm innocent people and put the blame on authorities via social media.

He called on the people to be considerate in  consuming social media information as they could become their propaganda tools.
