Interior Minister Gen Anupong Paochinda said on Tuesday (Nov 14) that almost 20,000 people have responded to the prime minister’s six questions and assured that none of them were persuaded to come out.
They all came out to answer the questions of the prime minister’s on future politics and election on a voluntary basis, Gen Anupong said.
He said in two days after the Damrongtham Center began receiving the answers on Nov 13a total of 19,580 people came out and responded freely and were not persuaded.
Gen Anupong’s assurance came after Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva alleged that the people were persuaded to come out to respond to the prime minister’s questions.
The Interior Minister said the government has no policy to direct the people or facilitate them or give any extra convenience.
He said that all answers will be sent to the prime minister every 10 days.
